Tag it Up!

Greetings all and welcome to a brand new week! A new week means that we have another fun challenge which we would like to share with you all.

Normally at this time of the month we would do a supply challenge ... however due to the fact that some of us didn't receive our supplies in time to create our cards we have swapped things around ... so we are doing one of our what would have been September challenges.

Our September challenges have been put together by Carolyn King .... thanks Cammie! For our first challenge we were instructed to 'Tag it Up!". Create a tag for any occasion....it just has to be a tag. Easy enough!

We would all love to see your tags too ... so if you have time to play please come back here and leave a comment on our blog so we can go check out your tags. If you are uploading to SCS don't forget to add the keyword: CCEEC.

OK now let's see what the CCEE team created this week:

Big Butt Bertie!

Hi we are back again already! Bet you weren't expecting to hear from us again until next Monday .... haha!

Today we have a special challenge as Charlene aka Lilluvsstampin on SCS is undergoing surgery on her hand today and won't be able to stamp for at least 6 weeks. So we all decided that we would make her a special get well card to help cheer her up.

So why the Big Butt Bertie .... well I will explain. When we first started our group and were chatting in the chat room we use we each gave each other nicknames .... Cindy aka Mothermark suggested she be called Gertie for some strange reason to help save confusion as we had two Cindy's which can be confusing. Someone probably either Cindy or Charlene suggested the name Bertie. A little later Charlene who btw loves M & M's .... said something about if she didn't stop eating all these M & M's she would get a big butt ..... so from there the name Big Butt Bertie just stuck .... haha. If the truth is known she probably has one of the smaller butts in our group.

Our challenge today was to create a get well card for Charlene .... it can be a butt card because of her Big Butt Bertie nic name; it can be an M & M card because she likes M & Ms, or it can be any traditional get well soon card.

For this challenge we have a few special guests who have also created cards for our challenge ... you can see their cards underneath the rest of the CCEE teams cards.

Don't forget as usual you can also play along ... if you want to send Charlene a get well card that would be great, or if you just want to make a card using one or more of the suggested themes that is fine too. Don't forget to put the keyword CCEEC if you upload to SCS.

Here are our cards:

I created a little m&m purse for Charlene because I don't believe for one minute that she has a big butt or that she will EVER have one. Of course, I will be sending lots of refills for a speedy recovery! ((Charlene))

Dawn Lusk - Dawn ...... A New Day

Inside says: Certain Image Keep Coming To Mind Whenever I Think Of Our Friendship!

Now...this is a big butt...nothing like what you claim to have!!
Wishing you a speedy recovery my friend!!

Charlene, I know there is not alot of M & M's in here. I didn't wanna cover up the butts but accompanying this little acrylic box card will be some of your beloved M & M's in a bag not a box! Good Luck! We are all thinking of you today and sending best wishes!

Hope you are back stamping with us soon Charlene!

CNFS - Stamps'nCoffee

Hi everyone and welcome to a brand new week ... which also means we have a brand new challenge to share with you all. This week is our CNFS or Catchy Name Featured Stamper challenge where we select a member from SCS who has a 'catchy' user name. We then create our cards using that name as our theme and send all the cards we made to that person.

This week our CNFS is ........................... Stamps'nCoffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So our challenge this week was to create a coffee themed card. If we could find a way to add something stamp related on your card like a image of a rubber stamp or similar that would give us extra bonus points.

Ok in case you don't already know ... it doesn't really matter if we get extra bonus points or not cause none of us win a prize ... it is just something we say sometimes haha!

Now don't forget that we would love you to play along with our challenge too. When you have created your coffee themed cards ... come back here to leave a comment on this post so we can check out your cards. If you are uploading to SCS the keyword to use is: CCEEC.

OK enough chat for now .... let's see what the CCEE team created this week:

That Old Black Magic!

Happy Monday everyone great to see you keep coming back to our blog each week.

I have that old song "That Old Black Magic" running in my head this week.

That old black magic has me in its spell ........ it's ok I ain't gonna sing in here I will leave that to my blog LOL!

But why am I talking about Black Magic ... I played with this technique back in June for one of our other CCEE challenges and it definitely put a spell on me, so when I had to come up with challenges for everyone this month I thought it would be a fun one to do. If you haven't heard of this technique before and would like to try it, check out the black magic tutorial I have put up on my blog.

I hope it weaves its spell on the rest of the CCEE team and maybe some of you too ... it is such a fun technique and really easy to do so why not give it a go.

Don't forget if you do decide to play along then come back here to add a comment to this post so we can all take a look at your card. And if you upload to Splitcoast Stampers, then please use the keyword: CCEEC.

Ok so now it is time to see what the CCEE team all created:

Clearly It's Humorous!

Hi there and welcome back to our CCEE Stampers blog. Hope you all had a great week and got lots of stamping in.

Well it is a new month, August which means that we have a new host for our challenges ... that would be me, Frances. I am very excited to bring the challenges to my CCEE friends and I hope that some of you also can find the time and join in the fun too.

I like acetate or transparent card ...... you can find a tutorial for this in the resources section of SCS, if you have never done them before. Click on this link to find the Acetate or Transparent Card Tutorial.

I was also checking on special holidays for this time of year and noticed that it is "Clown Week" 1 - 7th August each year in the US & also that Lucille Ball was born on the 6th August .... so my challenge this week is:

To create an acetate or transparent card that has a humorous theme to it .

Don't forget you are welcome to play along too if you would like ....
come back here and post a comment to this post so that we can go check out your card and if you are uploading your card to SCS then please use the keyword CCEEC.

Ok I can't wait to show you what the CCEE team have created this week: Click on their name to go to their individual blog or gallery to find more info on their cards.
