CCEE1509 Inlaid Die-cuts

Sabrina here again - and it's my last challenge, since it's time to pass the baton onto another team member for March. You can bet we'll have some good challenges coming!

It wouldn’t be a month of challenges from me without a technique challenge, grins, and the various ones for “the month of the pearl” were all optional, so here’s a technique challenge pure and simple...or not so simple; it’s up to you.

Inlaid die-cuts Tutorials:

Don't forget to check out what intricate inlays the rest of the team have come up with. And if you want to play along, you can upload to your SCS gallery using the keyword, or simply use the InLinkz tool below.

CCEE1508 Moonstruck

Hello everybody! It's Sabrina again with another challenge for you this month. This was something I'd never thought about before, but of course it makes sense!

Interestingly, because February is a short month, there can actually be years in which there is no full moon at all. The last time this happened was 1999, the next time will be 2018. So while this isn’t one of those years - feature the moon on your cards.

Don't forget to check out what moonlit wonders the rest of the team have come up with. And if you want to play along, you can upload to your SCS gallery using the keyword, or simply use the InLinkz tool below.

Thank you for popping by this week.

CCEE1507 Month of the Pearl

It's Sabrina here again, with the second of our challenges for February.

The Finnish for February is “helmiku”, which means “month of the pearl”. Snow melting on twigs and refreezing as drops has a pearl-like look.

You can take it easy and just use pearls/Liquid Pearls on your card, or you could be adventurous and try out some pearl techniques; pull out that old Pearl-Ex or Perfect Pearls!! Here are a few suggestions to get you started, but feel free to use any others so long as they are pearl-related.

CCEE1506 Queen For a Day

...or king!

Hello everybody! It's a new month, so I, Sabrina, am your hostess for February. Didn't Vicky have some great challenges for us in January? I hope you'll enjoy these ones too.

February 6th 1952 was the day Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne. Make a card featuring crowns or “royal” images - remember that playing cards could work for this too!

Don't forget to check out what wonderfully royal and regal creations the rest of the team have come up with. And if you want to play along, you can upload to your SCS gallery using the keyword, or simply use the InLinkz tool below.

Thank you for popping by this week.
