An Alota Supply Challenge!

G'day to you all!

Before we get started on this week's challenge, thanks to all my goofy CCEE Stamper friends who highjacked last weeks challenge with a challenge of there own to make owl cards for my birthday. It was a wonderful surprise, thanks also to everyone who sent birthday wishes and also to Joanne our guest designer for last week.

Ok now onto this weeks challenge. This week we have a supply challenge, this is when someone sends everyone the same or similar supplies for them to create their project with. This week the supplies were sent to us all by Helene of Alota Rubber Stamps. Thanks Helene!

Helene sent us all the following:

* Easter themed stamps
* Colored card
* Button diecuts
* Ribbon

Would you like to play along with this weeks challenge????? All you have to do is make an Easter related card or project and then come back here and place a link to your card in the comments section of this post. If you upload your card to SCS please include the keyword CCEEC.

Let's see what everyone came up with for this week's challenge:

A Scrapling Challenge!

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all had a very enjoyable weekend! Thanks to everyone who participated in our CCEE sketch challenge last week, we so loved seeing your creations.

Our challenge this week is another brought to us by Frances Byrne. One of Frances' favorite new things to create are scRaplings so this week's CCEE challenge is to create a scrapling. For those of you who haven't heard of scraplings before you can see a few more on Frances' blog here.

Scraplings are normally 1.25" x 4.25" because they are often made from the off cuts you get when you make a square card (4.25" square) from a piece of card that is 4.25" x 5.5". However you can make your scraplings a little wider depending on what you are working on at the time.

BUT for this challenge they cannot be any wider then 2.5 inches that is for the base of the scrapling ... you can have wider pieces hanging off like I did with my scrapling above, that is up to you .... as long as they are no wider then 2.5 inches.

So now it is your turn to play .... all you need to do is to create a scrapling following the guidelines above and then come back here and leave a comment on this post with a link to your scrapling so that we can see what you created. Don't forget that if you upload your scrapling to SCS to include the keyword CCEEC.

So now it is time to see what the CCEE Stampers came up with this week:

Sorry Hoots, but the challenge was changed. Quite awhile back actually. Didn't you get the memo? Oops...our bad. Sorry you were left out of the loop. Hope you can forgive us!! *grin*

We even have a special guest designer today. Glad you could join us Joanne (JoJot on SCS)

The real challenge was to make an Owl Birthday Card and mail it to Frances since it's her birthday today. Well, not today if you live in the US. But Australia is a bit ahead of us in the time department, so we're starting early.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOOTS!!!

CNFS - Knightrone!

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit us here at CCEE Stampers. It is challenge time again and this week it is our "Catchy Name Featured Stamper" challenge (CNFS). Each month we select someone who has a catchy user name over on SCS, we then create our cards around that persons name and send the cards we have made to them.

This month our CNFS person is Knightrone! For this challenge we had to use something that had to do with KNIGHTS not nights!

Would you like to play along??? All you need to do is create a card that is knight related ... remember no nights! Come back here and place a comment with a link to your card to this post so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card to SCS don't forget to include the keyword CCEEC. We can't wait to see what you create!

Let's take a look with the CCEE Stampers created this week!

It's a Little Sticky!

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend.

Of course it is time for another challenge here on CCEE Stampers. It is also the beginning of a new month, which means that we have a new challenge host. This month the challenge host is me ... Frances Byrne.

A few week's ago I had to do a tutorial for MFT Stamps on ways of using their digital papers ... one of the ideas I had was to use the digital papers by printing on those sticky labels ... you can see the part that relates to labels here. Anyway this got me thinking about how we used to use these sticky labels to create our cards.

So this week's challenge is to use the sticky labels to create your card ... you can stamp your main image on the labels and have that as a feature of your card ... stamp your background on the labels and use that .... or print your digital papers onto them and use that ... or combine all three hehe!

Ok so now it is your turn to play in our challenge. Just dig out those sticky labels and create your card. Don't forget to come back here and leave a comment with a link to your card so we can see your creation. If you upload to SCS please remember to include the keyword CCEEC.

Let's see what all the CCEE Stamper team created this week.
