Charlene here for the final Interesting Facts challenge I'm giving to the CCEE Stampers (and you) for the month of August based on Interesting Facts I found from the Funfactz.com website. Each week in August, I have been listing an interesting fact and an operative word that must be used for the inspiration of the CCEE Stampers' (and your) design.
INTERESTING FACT: "The streets of Victor, Colorado, once a gold rush town, are paved with low-grade gold."
OPERATIVE WORD: Gold
We'd love to have you play along also. All you have to do is create a card using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1134. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see your card too.
Here's what the CCEE Stampers came up with....
Frances Byrne - StampOwl's Studio
Cindy Haffner
Joanne Grzelak -- The Inky Ocean Gazer
Shirley Quarry
Charlene Merrick - wheremmsgather

thanks for the gold challenge, it got me to go through my quilting threads and play around with free style stitching. I gotta say it's much easier to do on fabric than on paper, but it was fun anyway.
ReplyDeleteTee hee, so fun to visit your challenge blog. I love your gold challenge. My dps are all about that. :)Peggy

Like this challenge! A little bit of gold elements always make the card looks great~~
ReplyDeleteOooo, time to bring out the gold. I love it. I used some gold waffle paper as accents for my Halloween card. Thanks for the great challenge and inspiration.
ReplyDeleteWonderful cards from the DT - and I love to emboss with gold - and had been meaning to make a card for my Aunt with this set - now it's done.
