Pocket Card of Thanks!

Hi everyone, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was kind to each of you.

The CCEE Stampers are still taking a break this week so I have another of our challenges we did in the past. This challenge is from November 2007 and was a supply challenge with the supply being sent to us by Charlene Merrick.

Charlene sent us the following supplies:
  • 6 x 6 Memory Keepers designer Paper
  • Thank you charm
  • 3 white punched stars
  • 1 button
  • Stampin' Up's night of Navy grosgrain Ribbon
Charlene also sent us some instructions that we had to follow for this challenge. As November was the month of Thanksgiving in the USA, we were to create a thank-you pocket card. We could make any type of pocket card we wanted to, but Charlene included the link to Beate's Pocket Card tutorial. We had to use at least one piece or all of the designer paper, the thank you charm, the ribbon and either the button or one or more of the punched stars. We could change the color of the ribbon if we really wanted to as long as we did use ribbon.

Would you like to play along with this week's challenge. All you have to do is create some form of pocket card ... the link to Beate's tutorial is above if you want to use that one. Don't forget to come back here and post a comment on this post with a link to you card so we can check out your creation. If you upload to the SCS gallery please remember to use the keyword CCEEC.

It's All Black & White!

Hi Stampers.

Christmas is only a few days away now and because of this the CCEE Stampers are having a little bit of a break.

However we know that many of you enjoy playing along with our challenges and checking out our blog each Monday. So with this is mind we thought that rather than not posting anything today we would post one of our previous challenges from last year before we had our blog.

This challenge was one we all did back in September 2007. It was inspired by Joanne aka Jojot who does some wonderful black and white cards on SCS, she has to be the master of black and white cards! We were allowed a little extra and that was that we were also allowed to add shades of grey!

Would you like to play along this week, we would love to see your black & white creations. Don't forget to come back her and leave a comment to this post so that we can check out your creations. If you upload your card to SCS, please include the keyword CCEEC.

Now it is time to see our creations:

Supply Challenge - Our Daily Bread

Hi Stampers .... another Monday so that means another of our CCEE challenges. This week our challenge is a supply challenge.

One of the challenges we do on a regular basis is the supply challenge. All of us in the group are sent the same supplies and we create our card/project around those supplies as per the instructions of the challenge hostess.

This month our supply challenge is brought to us by Our Daily Bread Designs. Kelley of Our Daily Bread sent all of the CCEE Stampers the 'Peace on Earth" stamp set. Thank you so much Kelley for this wonderful set ... I know we all enjoyed playing with the stamps in this set.

So now it is your turn to play. Some of you may already have this set and if you do we would love for you to use it and play along. Or if you don't have this particular set you might have another set by Our Daily Bread that you could use instead. No stamps .... well then show us your version of Peace on Earth. Whichever you decide .... don't forget to come back here and leave a comment on this post linking to your card so that we can check it out ... we love seeing your wonderful creations. If you post to a gallery like SCS, please use the keyword CCEEC.

So now it is time to see what everyone came up with this week!

Thank you Kelley!

Thanks for visiting.

It's All About Blue!

Hi everyone. Can you believe it is December already .... boy the year has flown past so quickly!

As you know Mondays mean challenge time here on the CCEE Stampers blog. Originally we all agreed that we wouldn't be doing challenges in December as it can be a busy month for many with preparations for Christmas, visiting families etc .... but a couple of us challenge aholics (and there are a few of us) changed our mind so Cindy Haffner came up with a few easy challenges for the first 3 weeks. Hope you will have some time to play along too.

Our first challenge this month is to make a card using any shade of blue and we also had to include some brads.

Now that is easy enough right .... oh and just in case ... yes you can use other colors as long as there is blue in your card and also the required brads. Want to play along???? Don't forget to come back here and post a link to your card in the comments section of this blog post. If you are uploading your card to SCS please use the keyword CCEEC.

Let's see what the team came up with this week.

A Supply Challenge!

Hi everyone .... today's CCEE Stampers challenge is a supply one. Charlene who is the challenge hostess for this month sent each of us the following supplies:

  • Red Starburst Translucent paper

  • Three different poinsettias: dark red; red with yellow cream centre; sheer red.

  • Gold stretch cord & gold ribbon

  • Red ornament embellishment

  • Three snowflakes: white; red & gold
Charlene instructed us to:

  • create a Christmas card.

  • use some portion of the red designer paper.

  • use at least one for the poinsettias

  • use either the gold cord or ribbon

  • the red ornament and snowflakes were optional.
Now I know you guys won't have exactly the same supplies as we received from Charlene ... but I know we would love for you to still play along .... so how about you make a Christmas card too .. that uses some or all of the requirements above ... do you have red paper or card??? gold cord or ribbon. If you decide to play along don't forget to come back here and leave us a link to your card in the comments section of this post. If you upload your card to SCS please include the keyword CCEEC.

Here is what we all came up with:
