CCEE1240

CCEE1240

Can you believe we are already into the month of October? Hi, I'm Brenda aka Benzi and will be hosting the challenges this month. I've been with this group of awesome stampers for several months, but I believe this is my first time to host.

The challenge I've chosen for this week is to use chipboard as an element on your card or project. I think it really adds so much interest and there are so many designs of chipboard...numbers, letters, your favorite images, keys....the ideas are endless.  Example: My card uses a large chipboard pennant I cut and made into a large cone shaped holder/vase.

We hope you'll join us for this challenge. Create a card/project using this week's challenge and upload on your blog or the SCS gallery using the keywords CCEE1240. Make a link to our challenge.   Return here and link to Mr. Linky. We'll enjoy seeing your creations.

It's now time to check out the wonderful work of the Design Team.

CCEE1239

It's Sabrina here with the last challenge for September. It's another technique challenge, of sorts. I'm asking the team to create their own designer paper, using any techniques they like. There are so many fabulous paper companies out there, and I am sure we all have our favourites, but maybe this is the time to pull out a neglected backgrounder stamp or use some other technique to create your own. Wrinkle free distress is one of my favourites - what about you?

We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1239. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see your card too.

Now, lets see what the CCEE gals have come up with this week:

CCEE1238

Sabrina here again - welcome back to another challenge with the CCEE Stampers.
We've had birds and music - another love in my life is cooking - I've loved cooking almost ever since I could walk. So this week I'm challenging the team to make a card (or project) using paper or stamps which feature either food or drink. Bonus points if you include a recipe!!

We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1238. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see your card too.

CCEE1237

It's Sabrina here again with the second challenge for September. I did say I was primarily a technique lover when it comes to card making - so let's have a technique challenge this week! A waterfall card was one of the first fancy techniques I tried, when there were far fewer online resources  and finding help when a magazine tutorial was a bit unclear was not the easiest thing! But it led me to Splitcoaststampers, which is where you can still find a tutorial for this technique or for a free-standing pop-up card, since you may make one of those if you prefer.

We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create either a waterfall card or a free-standing pop-up card, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1237. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see your card too.

CCEE1236

A new month, a new hostess. It's Sabrina here, the first time I've had the privilege of being hostess. I'm primarily a technique lover when it comes to card-making, but I've also included a couple of challenges that represent other interests in my life. So this week I set the talented team the challenge of creating a card using birds and music. To make it even easier, you don't actually have to use music stamps or paper, you can just let the lyrics of a song inspire you (but remember to share the song with us!).

We'd love to have you play along. All you have to do is create something using the above challenge, and upload it to your blog and/or to your SCS Gallery using the keyword CCEE1236. Don't forget to come back here and link it on Mr Linky so that everyone else can see your card too.
