Let's Go Digital!

Greetings everyone and Happy Monday. Of course Monday's mean it is time for another CCEE Stampers challenge .... are you ready to play???

This week our challenge host for the month Frances challenged us all with a supply challenge. This is when we are all sent the same things and have to use those item/s to create our card or project for the challenge. This month Frances decided that we should all go digital.

Have you noticed that Digital Stamps or images (whatever you wish to call them) are becoming very popular in the stamping world. More and more companies are coming out with some wonderful designs that we want to use in our creations of our projects. Some places only sell digital images while some stamp companies are now also coming out with digital images that you can purchase too. Some companies even offer freebies too.

For our challenge today Frances purchased the digital image "End of Summer" for each of the CCEE Stampers from Mo’s Digital Pencil. You will find some wonderful images on this site so check it out and the fun thing about digital images is no waiting for the postie to deliver them. To use digital stamps/images all you need to do is download the image (you may need to purchase it first if it isn't a freebie), open it up on your computer either in you photo editing software or even your word program. One advantages of digital images is that you can resize them, flip them so they face the other way .... how cool is that! Just print them out on your card, color and create away!

While surfing for digital stamps recently I found a great site that lists many of the companies that sell digital images and also those who offer freebies. So just in case you haven't tried digital stamps yet you might want to check it out, you can find it here.

And here is another site that lists digital freebies.

So are you going to play along this week??? All you need to do is to create a card/project using any digital image. Don't have any Once you have created your card/project come back here and link to your card/project to this post using Mr Linky so that we can see what you created. CNFS -Copsmonkey!

Good morning everyone and welcome to our CCEE Stamper blog. Are you ready for another challenge!

This week it is time for our CNFS (Catchy Name Featured Stamper) challenge which is always soooo much fun. For those who don't know already, once a month our challenge hostess for the month selects someone who has a "Catchy" user name over on SCS and we then create our card around that name.

This week, Frances our challenge hostess selected the user name "copsmonkey". Of course the instructions for this one was to create a card with a monkey on it. If we wanted to get creative they could add a cops hat on the monkeys head or wherever.

So are you going to play along this week??? All you need to do is to create a card that has a monkey somewhere on your card. Once you have created your card/project come back here and link to your card/project to this post using Mr Linky so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card/project to SCS don't forget to include the keyword CCEEC. We can't wait to see what you create!

Grandma Overboard!

Hi everyone,

Welcome to another CCEE Stampers challenge.

This week we continue with our August challenge host Cindy Motherway's challenges based on the popular 60's song The Birds & The Bees.

Let me tell ya about the Birds and the Bees
And the Flowers and the Trees
And the Moon Up Above
And a Name I Just Love!

As you can see, Cindy has used some artist license to change the last line of the song so that we can do one of our favorite challenges each month, the CNFS (Catchy Name Featured Stamper) where we selected someone who has a catchy user name over on SCS.

Here are Cindy's instructions to us all:

Your card has to be in an honor of a SCSer whose name I just love! (CNFS this week!) Grandma Overboard. Your card must have a Grandma Overboard on it. She could have fallen out of a boat, off the stage, out of the tree, off of a flower, into the pool, off your card, into an oval, off of a building, off of a horse, out of a sleigh, out of an airplane, etc. etc. etc. She just has to be overboard!!

Cindy also warned us that if we were thinking of cheating and just putting the words Grandma Overboard on our card, then those words have to be falling off/out of something!

Apparently this is Cindy's way of getting even at us all for all the techniques we have been making her do when it is the rest of our turns to host the challenges hehe!

So are you going to play along this week??? All you need to do is to create a card that has a grandma going overboard somewhere on it. Once you have created your card/project come back here and place a comment with a link to your card/project to this post so that we can see what you created. If you upload your card/project to SCS don't forget to include the keyword CCEEC. We can't wait to see what you create!
