CNFS - Eggette!

Good morning everyone .... hope you all have an enjoyable weekend! Are you ready for another CCEE challenge.

Our challenge today is our Creative Name Featured Stamper (CNFS) ... for this challenge one person in our group selects a person from SCS who has a catchy user name ... we then create our card using their name for the theme for our card.

Charlene is the challenge hostess for this month and the name she selected for us to use was "Eggette". Apparently Bonnie gathers chicken eggs from over 12000 chickens on their farm. Her favorite embellishment is ribbons and she loves the color green.

Our instructions for this challenge was that our card had to have an egg on it somewhere .... we also had to use some shade of green & ribbon on our card.

Would you like to play our challenge ... we would love to see what you create using this theme! Don't forget to come back here and post a comment with a link to your card. If you upload to SCS don't please use the keyword CCEEC.

Let's see what the team came up with this week:

Coastin’ Along

Good morning everyone .... hope you enjoyed your weekend. It is challenge time again over here at CCEE Stampers.

This week Charlene instructed us to use a restaurant coaster on our project along with some mesh or mulberry paper (the mesh & mulberry paper are both products that Charlene mentioned she hadn't seen used much lately). Many of us only had coasters that were blank so that is what some of us ended up using.

Would you like to play along this week too .... I know we would all love to see what you could come up with for this challenge ... whether you use decorated coasters or blank ones it doesn't matter. Don't forget that once you have completed your project to come back here and post a comment to this blog post so that we can see your creation. If you upload to the gallery of SCS don't forget to use the keyword CCEEC.

Ok let's see what everyone came up with:

Frances Byrne - StampOwl's Studi0

Tosh Leyendekker - Stamp Talk with Tosh

Doesn't my bg look like mesh? The mulberry paper got stuck behind the text message too. Sorry Charlene. Man, that's two weeks in a row that I've messed up. I'll get it right next week...promise!!

A Sketchy Challenge!

Wow can you believe that we are in November already!!!!! Where does the year go ... the older we get the faster the year seems to disappear!!!!

As it is Monday it is time for another of our CCEE challenges .... as we are in a new month it means we have a new challenge hostess. This month it is Charlene Merrick's turn to issue the challenge and she has come up with some fun ones as you will see as the month progresses.

The first challenge Charlene issued is a sketch challenge. Charlene instructed us to use one of her favorite sketch designs from SCS, which was SC75 ... from way back in 2006. However as expected there was a twist ... we had to change the square shape at the bottom of the card to another shape. We also had to include eyelets somewhere on our cards.

We would love for you all to play along with this challenge .... To save you all searching SCS for the sketch I have included it here for you ... adding the extra "twist" requirements. Don't forget to come back here and include a link to your card in the comments section of this post. If you are uploading your card to SCS please include the following keywords: CCEEC & SC75.

Here are the cards the CCEE Stampers team came up with this week:

A Lil' Behind!

Greetings to you all ... are you all ready for another CCEE Stampers challenge?

This week our challenge is a supply challenge. This is a challenge we do each month ... how it works is that one of the CCEE members sends everyone on our team a number of supplies and normally some instructions too for us to create our cards. This month Cindy Motherway organized our supplies for us.

Heather the owner of H & M Stamps was kind enough to send Cindy enough of "A Lil' Behind" stamp sets to send to each of the CCEE girls .... and this is what we are using for our challenge today.

Dawn who was organizing the challenges for this month also added an additional clause to this challenge which was to use chipboard somewhere on our card.

So now it is your turn to play ... if you don't have this stamp set ... play along with what you have ... maybe you have some other stamp that is "butt" related but if you don't anything will do ... just make sure you do use the chipboard piece. If you create a card come back here and include a link to your card in the comments section. Don't forget if you upload to SCS to include the keywords CCEEC.

Now let's see what everyone came up with this week:

Keeping You in Suspense!

Hi again everyone. Are you ready for another of our CCEE Stamper challenges. You are ... OK so I won't keep you in suspense any longer!

This week Dawn has given us another fun challenge. We were to use Beate's Suspension Card Tutorial to create a suspension project (it could be a card or an ornament). Our card had to have a Christmas or Winter theme.

Do you want to play along too ... I know we would all love you to. All you need to do is create your suspension project and come back here and add your link to the comments section of this post. If you upload your card to SCS please use the keyword CCEEC.

CNFS - Jstarbright

Howdy everyone ... hope you all had a wonderful weekend and managed to get a little stamping done. It is that time of the week again when the CCEE Stampers get together here to share our cards we created for our weekly challenge.

This week our challenge is one of our favorites .. the Catchy Name Featured Stamper challenge ... we pick a name of someone on SCS who has a catchy name and then we create our cards around that Stampers name.

This month the CNFS is Jstarbright ... Dawn who is in charge of the challenges this month asked Joni (Jstarbright) some of her favorite things and this is what our cards are based on this week.

Our cards had to have:

  1. Patterned Paper

  2. Birds

  3. A Star

  4. Buttons & Brads

  5. Bonus ..... she collects covered bridges and loves listening to music ... so if you can put a covered bridge and/or music on it there might be a prize *wink*

Now I wouldn't be fooled about #5 I doubt there is any prize haha! ... that is just my CCEE friends fooling around again!

Want to play along ... I know we would love it if you would! Create your card using the first 4 items in the list above and then come back here and link your card in the comment section of this post so that we can check out your card. If you upload your card to SCS, don't forget to include the keyword CCEEC.

BTW ... J is for Joni .... Star is her middle name and Bright goes with star!

OK .... now let's see what the CCEE Stampers came up with this week.

Carolyn King - My Blog
I got so confused about all the things we had to include so I included everything I could think of just to be sure to not get the gong!: eyelets (check), buttons (check), star (check), birds (check), brads (check), hemp (check), stamping (check), designer paper (check)!

Some one stole my covered bridge right off my card and no one sent me the memo about buttons and brads! How come I always get picked on?
